Curtrena and her sons faced hardships after leaving an unsafe environment before being introduced to Single Parent Alliance and Resource Center (SPARC). Through SPARC, Curtrena and her sons received supportive services just in time for Christmas. Reflecting on this challenging time, Curtrena said, “A whole community I didn’t know I had showed up for me, and they have helped me to love life again.”
The Siemer Institute helps fund SPARC, which is a service provider of the United Way of Greater Atlanta.
